I created a texture atlas with my normalPlatform image, 600 x 55. I clicked AutoSD and created both escapesceneatlas-iPad-hd. I originally had escapesceneatlas-iPad. I use an idiom test to differentiate between escapesceneatlas and escapesceneatlas-iPad. I get the right image for iPad, but not for iPad-hd. The image is indeed 300px for ipad but still 300 for iPad-hd.

In my xcode project I have:

escapesceneatlas.png/plist (for iphone)

escapesceneatlas-iPad.png/plist (for ipad)

escapesceneatlas-iPad-hd.png/plist (for ipad hd)

In my code I idiom test for iPad to use escapesceneatlas-iPad vs iphone which uses escapesceneatlas.

In escapesceneatlas-iPad.png/plist & escapesceneatlas-iPad-hd I have a 300 & 600px image respectively, which seems fine.

Why am I not getting the 600px image for hd if its there?

nevermind, i got it…i think.

I had to get rid of the idiom test. cocos2dv2.0 already accounts for the suffixes, that I knew! But apparently it frowns upon any attempt on your part to code for the different suffixes!
