Ravenous Games is proud to present a new iOS game we are just waiting for approval on! Expected release is Nov 15th.
Wrongfully dismissed from his job, the hero is on a war path to take down anyone who gets in his way of giving the CEO a much needed beatdown!
Inspired by the classic beat-em up genre; get ready for BEATDOWN!
The game features:
- 20 Levels
- 5 Bosses
- 5 Environments
- 30 Enemies
- Combos / Rage Attacks
- 3 control schemes (new control scheme, analog and d-pad)
- Joypad and iCade support
- GameCenter Achievements
- iCloud Game Saves
I want it!!
How much time does it take you guys to make a game? Seems like you’ve made one engine and built multiple games from it.
i love loe(1+2)! hope this game has the same accurate controls
@cocosbean: Our dev cycle is around 2-3 months per game. We have one engine for our platformers that we’ve reused but this was a new engine. Lots of reusable code from other games though!
@nf: We spent a lot of time on a new control scheme which is a “floating d-pad” for this game. It controls really well and has iCade support!
Looks really nice, like the two big guys knocking through the wall, hope that was a homage to Double Dragon
I want it now!!
@cocojoe: Sure was!
@riq: Get your iCade ready for some button mashing!!
Awesome. Really looking forward to it. Just Finished Random Heros and really enjoyed it.
The game looks so awesome, but I don’t like the fact that it’s released the same day as my game
Game looks awesome, can’t wait to play it!
@Apollo18: Awesome! Glad you enjoyed Random Heroes.
@jptsetung: Next week is gonna be packed since everyone delayed a week to avoid Angry Birds!
@cc_dev: Thanks! Let us know what you think when you do.
The game is finally out!
Congrats! I played it last night.
Nice game! It would be great to support multiple players
Hey, I’m stuck on the boss of Downtown stage 4, the police man, and I’ve played like 10 times and no progress, is there a way to beat him!?
@itlgames: He’s hard but you can beat him. Try using the air-kick more for that battle and avoid taking damage as much as possible.
Hey, you have a very nice game here, I just bought it and is addictive , old school beat’em up. Congrats and I see that you are in the What we are playing section of the app store.
