converted image1.png to image1.pvr.ccz using texturepacker

somesays pvr extension type is native ios image format and

pvr.ccz extension is natively cocos2d format.

is it true ?

my single line code:

CCSprite *spr1=[CCSprite spriteWithFile:@"image1.pvr.ccz"];

is so,why I m getting this error ?

—ERROR LOG—-

-[CCFileUtils fullPathFromRelativePath:resolutionType:] : cocos2d: Warning: File not found: image1.pvr.ccz

cocos2d: Error loading CCZ compressed file

texturepacker also generated a plist file for sprites map.

but I only wantto load an image.something like pure png files without using extra code.

question :

is pvr.ccz files have to be loaded into texturecache with corresponding plist maps

and loading them into CCSprite or elsewhere is the only way ?

CCSprite *spr1=[CCSprite spriteWithFile:@"image1.pvr.ccz"];

this single line is not enough ?

That appears to be valid code. One of the things you might want to check is that when you import pvr files into xcode you need to check “Add to targets”. If you don’t it won’t be able to find the file.
