I converted a PNG to PVR with Jbullfrog’s pvr converter: http://jbullfrog.com/froglog/?p=323
But now that I modified my plist file to use it, it doesn’t work !
Here’s the debugger output:
2011-04-24 19:40:13.399 appName[5452:607] cocos2d: Couldn't load PVR image: /var/mobile/Applications/98FC507B-82CC-4E50-97F3-1496786705FB/appName.app/virusBoom.pvr
2011-04-24 19:40:13.402 appName[5452:607] cocos2d: Couldn't add PVRImage:virusBoom.pvr in CCTextureCache
2011-04-24 19:40:13.405 appName[5452:607] *** Assertion failure in -[CCParticleSystemQuad initWithDictionary:], /Users/userName/Desktop/appName/appName/libs/cocos2d/CCParticleSystem.m:248
In the PVR batch converter, I chose linear channel weighting and 4 bits per pixel. But I also tried with perceptual channel weighting and 2 bits per pixel.
What’s wrong ? Can I use PVRs with particle systems ?
And I also tried with the motionStreak. à
Do I need to say more ?
