Hi all,

My first iPhone game "Star Fusion" was approved by Apple a few days ago and is available on the iPhone App store now! (US and UK only at the moment)

What is the significance of the meter on the right? In the video, you seem to be adjusting it? Do you need to match the value of the stars or special symbols headed towards the Sun to capture it? I was thinking it was a fill meter indicating how far you are from finishing the level?

Yep, as you say - you need to match the value in the meter on the right with the value of the star. If you have the correct value then when you intercept it with the sun, you will collect it and score points.

I need to vastly improve the trailer :-)

Hi Chris,
I downloaded your game and I really think you should explain the game in more details when a user starts playing for the first time. I actually didn't get it at all.
I spent few minutes dragging the sun up and down, dragging the clouds... but nothing would happen. I changed the temperature and that didn't give me any feedback. The gameplay is really obscure!
I'm not saying it's a bad game, because I couldn't even play it! So, no offence here!
You should expand the instruction screen!

Did you check the Help screen? If so, do you think its makes sense or should I change the format?

Hi Chris,

your help screen helped a lot. I'm not big fan of help screens and I think most of the people try to play immediately without reading the instructions. So you should explain much more in the "comics" showing up before playing. IMHO.

I didn't fall in love with the game, but I don't dislike it.
By the way, I noticed an annoying jitter in the animations... even in the main menu, the clouds don't move smoothly. I have an iPhone 3G with 3.0... all my other games work fine.
