GEMOLITION is a new pick up and play puzzle game from Invisible Wonder, a totally indie one-man shop. It's rewards skillful play, but with it's big gems it's easy for adult fingers to grasp. It was pretty fun and addicting in the beta's playtest, so I'm hoping you'll help me spread the word!

I took A3LLRMMFKHXE, looks great! I'll review immediately.

Edit: Gameplay is great and addicting! Graphics look great as well! My only suggestion is perhaps a menu of some sort, I personally like using an in game button to take me directly to the app store so I can review.

But great work!!

I was able to snag a promo code, 364H4TAYL443, but when I try to install on my iPhone 3G, running vanilla iOS4.01, it says it can't install because it's not compatible. Bummer. One of the few times I actually get to the party on time, and I'm not invited in x{

I rebooted both my iPhone and MBP, and still no joy.

Mind if I compare notes on your versions of these vs. mine?:

All the same except I installed it on a 3G 8gb, also I used the on phone app store to redeem the code, rather than iTunes.

Ahh, thank you. It's the first time this has happened to me where I've had problems with an app I downloaded through iTunes. I was able to re-download the app by re-purchasing through my iPhone for free. That seems to have done the trick, as it installed without problems. Thanks!

@Invisible-Wonder,

I like the game, it's fun, and it works well, no lag for me, responsive controls. I am going to leave a good review in the store.
A couple of minor things that I would add to @hm50 's comments:

-I personally would like to see some sort of feedback under my finger to show me where I will be moving the gem. Maybe a ghost image of the gem slides along the board, or simply shading the tile under my finger?
-An option to toggle the vibration on an invalid touch location. (Personally, I dislike the vibration in games)
-Are there sounds?

Great game though. I'm already finding myself wanting to play again to get a better score!

There are sounds... they're my favorite part. I noticed phones running OS3.0 don't play sound, but I wrote that up to bugs in OA since even youtube videos don't play with sound in that environment.

I have downloaded and started playing the game. It is a very nice and mindless game which is good. My only concern was that on the second level I got crushed. I think that the difficulty increased by a lot between levels 1 and 2, or I just wasn't thinking straight.

@David994A I shipped with v0.99 because I didn't want the hassle of upgrading to Snow Leopard only to fiddle with all the setting to compile for iOS 3.1.

On my iphone 4 the tutorial screen is so dim it's almost black. The rest of the game and screens, the brightness is fine.

When I tried to install this on my iPod Touch 2g it said this app is not compatible with your iPod.
