I thought I could find the source code from your site, but sorry I cannot find the link to download in there. Does that mean I have to contact you via http://6thmega.com/contact to get the source code?
Very polished trailer, my only complaint is that I still have no idea what the actual -game- is like. Apparently there is a fish and... you swim. Or something. Perhaps just a tad more gameplay footage?
Awesome :D The game reminds me of Feeding Frenzy (from the Flash games era). Love to see the code :D And so nice of you guys to give it away for free.

@sackboy - we agree the trailer is more like a teaser and the audience may feel they've just been teased but have no idea what's going on… kinda like a teaser trailer for a JJ Abrams movie… it's like, wtf??

@araker - yes, we are just learning the ropes here but have now made the code publicly available. any other suggestions on how best to make this game open source totally welcomed!! for example, it would be cool if we could all work together to keep advancing the game engine features.. we're going to be doing that anyway and will keep releasing better and better game but any help totally appreciated!

EDIT - Is there supposed to be 2407 warnings and an error?
I'm using .99.4
I had no real problems compiling and getting it to work. I can't remember where, but you will get an error, its in reference to YOURKEY, SECRETKEY, and what not. Looks like 6th Mega just removed his key, for good reason, since we shouldn't see those keys. Its for OpenFeint. It takes an NSString. Just wrap 'YOURKEY', and those other keys into an NSString. You'll want to get your own keys at some point for OpenFeint, but just do that and it'll reduce those 4 errors and warnings. After that, I only had a few warnings, but was able to load the compiled game on my ipod.
@6th Mega -- who did you use to make your graphics?

The game works fine with the warnings.
The 4 errors are just caused because the source code does not include the OpenFeint secret key etc. If those were included in the code, people would be overriding the App Store Game's top scores and stats...
Register as developer on http://www.openfeint.com and get the default App Key and Secret keys, and replace them were you are initialising Openfeint.
The last error for leaderboard should just be some score like @"1234"

@Joethemonkey101 - not sure exactly what you mean but the game itself does not have any warnings in its published state on App Store with correct OF implementation.. please read up on XPhoenix description for more info thanks!
