   OK, i've completed a game with cocos2d called Jelly Rescue. (i'll write more details about it when it comes out, its still under review and taking so loooonng) :)

   Anyway, i am finishing the lite version now and I was wondering how to link from the lite app to the app store with the full version. Will I just open a URL like: (taken from the stick wars) "http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=309528712&mt=8" where id will be the application id? what is mt all about?

   well yeah it's possible, but it will first enter Safari, then iTunes and only then the appstore.
   same goes for the http://itunes.com/app/yourApp Which will also work.
   in order for the app to go straight to the appstore without too many transition is using phobos links...
   I think you can just change the itunes.apple.com to phobos.apple.com
   Not sure though... but that's how I implemented it in my app...

   This will actually direct you to the appstore directly and use a search term:

   http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZSearch.woa/wa/search?submit=seeAllLockups&media=software&entity=software&term=SearchTermHere

   Thanks! I'll try the phobos... "phobos" in greek means fear :)

   anyway...

   Well I gave my app for review on the 3rd of July and after a couple of weeks it passed. But then I found a bug :)
   So I took it down and resubmitted it yesterday.... so I bet another couple of weeks :(

   I've tried using both phobos.apple.com and itunes.apple.com, as well as the search term you said natanavra, but it tells me "Safari cannot open the page because too many redirects occurred". Any idea how to solve this?

   I am using 3.0 and i'm opening it as natanavra says [[UIApplication sharedApplication] openURL:myUrl];

   ex.:

   NSURL *url = [NSURL URLWithString:@"http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=322526203&mt=8&s=143441"];
   [[UIApplication sharedApplication] openURL:url];

    You're testing this on an actual device and not on the simulator, right ?

    I want to ask a problem: I got my app's link on itunes after my app was approved. If that how could I embed my code(http://phobos.apple.com/myapp) before I submited my app to AppStore? (because I don't know link format before)

    if you've already added your app to iTunes connect, you know what the name of your app is, and can build a link for it as detailed here:

    http://developer.apple.com/iphone/library/qa/qa2008/qa1633.html

    Here's some examples they give:

    Application Name examples

    Ocarina => http://itunes.com/apps/ocarina
    Watchmen: Justice is Coming => http://itunes.com/apps/watchmenjusticeiscoming
    Brain Challenge™ => http://itunes.com/apps/brainchallenge
    Spanish Class 2 - Bueno, entonces... ¿qué pasó con el cinco? => http://itunes.com/apps/spanishclass2buenoentoncesquepasoconelcinco

    or if you have control of a webserver somewhere, you could put in an url to your website, and change it after it goes live to what your app url is....
