I am developing a game (obviously) and have come to notice the slowness of the iPad Gpu/cocos2d particles.
I am using CCQuadParticles because of the recommendation by riq of it being faster despite my skeptical-ness. But i have tried CCPointParticles with the same result.
I have no more then 1,500 particles on screen at once. Not that much (At least I don't think so)
Has ANYBODY made ANY optimizations to the particle system and/or made a new one?
