Smashing Ideas, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Developer for our
Mobile & Devices Group. An ideal candidate for this position should have:
• A mastery of Objective-C (Cocoa Touch API) for iPhone
• Experience using OpenGL ES 1.1 and Interface Builder
• Developed at least one previous iPhone app, currently available for download
• Server-side development experience: PHP, ASPX, CF, Java, SQL, or other
• Experience creating frameworks, templates, and documentation for others to use.
• Passion for learning new programming languages.
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills
We are looking for someone who enjoys being part of the development process from start to finish. A Mobile & Devices Developer at Smashing Ideas will play a role in the project team and their duties will include the following:
• Participate in project brainstorms
• Write technical specifications and documentation
• Be the developer on the project from start to finish
• Self-mange his or her own tasks and time
• Ability to communicate proactively and collaborate with teammates
• Create frameworks, templates, and documentation for other to use
• Flexibility and desire to work on both games and applications
• Be motivated to work on face-paced and highly engineered projects
• Pro-active on expanding and adapting development skills
Ideal
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience programming in ActionScript 2.0 or 3.0
• Minimum of three years working in Object-Oriented Programming environments
