Hey all,
So my question is exactly what the title says. At what point will atlas sprites be faster? My game will have 6 animated sprites on the screen most of the time and every once in a while there will be 10 and there will always be about 6 non animated sprites. Will atlas sprite actually be faster with only this many sprites? and are there any other advantages using atlas sprites than just using the regular sprite?

Do whatever is easiest for you to program, you should easily get 60fps either way.
