can you make it in this and then just compile and submit on real one?

And? How faster is the compile time compared with 3.2.x?

My first impressions and problems with Xcode 4:
- it is quite difficult to find old features (like 'Jump to Definition' - you have to look through help to find out that you have to Command-double-click the symbol; or build log; or guild settings)
- I can no longer connect to SVN repository I successfully use with Xcode 3.x :/
- HOW THE F**K I ADD MY OWN CODE SNIPPETS?! Do I still have to manually edit xctxtmacros or whatever it is named? I was waiting for this feature, which other IDEs contain since many years, and it still looks to be missing.Apart from that, the new Xcode looks quite good. I especially like the tabs and Assistant functionality.
However, I did not noticed the boost of the compile time:
(Compiling non-Cocos2D-based iPhone project:)
Xcode4 GCC 4.2 1min 22sec
Xcode4 LLVM GCC 4.2 1min 16sec
Xcode4 LLVM 2.0 1min 19sec
Xcode3.2.3 GCC 4.2 1min 14sec(Maybe I am doing sth wronlgy).
In conclusion - Xcode4 is for me rather a bit of disappointment than a revolution: User interface has been messed up (I do not say it is worse; it is just different while not being so much better as expected), some of the 'new greatest' features did not work for me, some other features are still missing (user-defined code snippets or automatic variable adjusting/proposing for function params (like in NetBeans IDE)).
Still way to go...

"The new XCode has a time-machine like time-slider for showing you how your code changed over time." - now that will save me packets of headache tablets.

I get a few build warnings while using XCode4 and cocos2d 0.99.5. One that crashes my app has to do with the Looping Menu code, 'CCMenu may not respond to itemForTouch'.
I think I like the new layout, just difficult to navigate the new version.

Download is only for paid member. Not for the free member. Is any luck for the free member ?

O.K. Vabu you may be right. I've learned a lot of praises of Xcode 4. It has many new and advanced features and probably you also read them in Apple site. Since it is underdevelopment so some minor problems may be there. Without try how can we say about something. Well I'm waiting for this release and hope Apple will do soon. I'm addicted of mac os and its products and every new release has something special.

You can download it legally! Just take a look at developer.apple.com if you are registered developer.

@GameBit the direct download link for Preview 3 doesn't work for me either. I am a registered iPhone developer and I did log in before clicking it. Is it a redirect?
The previous one for Preview 2, listed here on first page of this thread, did work for me.
It had this format: https://developer.apple.com/iphone/download.action?path=%2FDeveloper_Tools%2Fxcode_4_developer_preview_2%2Fxcode4_dp2_4a119.dmgCould anyone try looking up a similar link for Preview 3? I'm dying to try it and it just doesn't show up in my Dev center page after login.
Thanks!

Oh, scratch that, I found it. After logging in I had to click iOS SDK Beta in the top gray bar (under the dark one at the very top). Talk about intuitive UI!! Search didn't work... Oh. 1 hour, 3 minutes remaining.
