It looks awesome.
Xcode 4 is still for WWDC participants only.

Some new features: (Edited)
- You will be able to choose different skins for the IDE.
- There is a Code Snippet feature, possibly similar to Dashcode
- Xcode4 has tags!
- Great GIT Support. Improved Subversion Support, too
- Xcode4 summary thus far: SDI interface, better intellisense
- The new XCode has a time-machine like time-slider for showing you how your code changed over time.
- MDI (Multi Document Interface) where you see multiple source files within the same Xcode window.
- LLDB will replace the current GDB debugger
- The new version of the developer tools consolidates the Xcode editing tools and Interface Builder into a single application

Yea I must say, the statement of 60% increase is true. @ WWDC they showed us real time demos of 2 apps compiled side by side. I personally love LLVM and cannot wait for this to be out of beta just for GIT. Debugger is so much nicer as well, no more unresolved variables.

"You will be able to choose different skins for the IDE" there is a strange feature I both never wanted or thought Id see. But I really love the rest of the new features. Maybe Ill make a Mac OS 9 or NextStep theme for fun!

Sorry is that 60% increase in compile time, or 60% runtime speed increase(which seems crazy)?

I wonder what sort of items will get the max of 60% performance boost from the compiler.

In the "Developer Tools State of the Union" session that is available from WWDC2010 they introduced the new LLVM compiler with a few graphs. Most of the performance gain they showed at runtime from the iPhone is in things like MD4, DES EDE3 and DES CBC. These are all cryptography related things for encrypting things. Even if we don't get the "upto 60% faster" part the 2x quicker compiling time is always welcome.

weird, I still can't download it, although it says that iPhone developer program members can download it. Does the download work for you @manucorporat?

To get the most out of Xcode 4 I highly recommend watching the WWDC Xcode videos... Xcode 4 has some very cool new features.

For those of you using it:

A) Does it replace existing Xcode, or can you use the two side by side?

B) Is it stable enough to consider switching to 4.0 as your main development platform, or is it a hassle to get it work with existing projects?

No, It doesn't replace Xcode 3.
Xcode 4 is a beta version and I think you can't distribute your applications compiled with Xcode 4 Preview.
