Hi guys!
I've recently developed a game using Cocos2d. The game ran fine on my iPhone and the simulator. Apple approved it, so I guess it ran well on their devices as well. Now the game is in the AppStore and I asked a friend to check it out.
He uses an iPod touch (latest OS version), but the game crashes on startup (just returns to the app overview). He tried to install it again, but the problem remains.
So here's my question:
How is that possible? I thought all Apple devices were the same (hardware + OS). So how can it run on so many devices, but crash on my friends iPod? Do you have any GENERAL idea how to solve this problem?
