Thanks everyone, I really appreciate it, the last couple weeks have been completely surreal!

I´d love to hear that riq gets a big fat piece of the cake (donation), too ;)

Let's just say that I'm very thankful for Riq's work, and I'd like to let him know that in a material way ;) That being said, it won't be for a couple months, because Apple won't pay me for a couple months.

Congrats Matt, I saw you on the top lists the other day and I was like yeahh it's about time! I always thought Trainyard was a great/unique game, so I'm very happy for you.

Congrats on finally making it big, Matt! I never thought I'd see the day when a non-corporate (err.. non-Chillingo) game made it that high up the charts...

I do have one complaint, though. I've lost a LOT of coding time since I've been playing your game instead...

I think a lot of folks here now want to build "the next Trainyard". Personally, I'm looking forward to whatever you come up with next!

Yeah, my next game will probably be very very different from Trainyard. I have three game prototypes and I'm not 100% which one I'll do next.

One is a puzzle game kinda like Trainyard, one is a platformer kinda like Canabalt, and one is a *cooperative* two-player iPad game kinda like... well, nothing I've seen.

Well I know which one Id want to play. Although if the game *required* two players it would limit its audience.

it's not the game to be success itself, it's the man who make it success.

every app might have different successful story.

Yeah exactly. iPad + requiring two players = very small target audience. That being said, I could see people buying it as a "show off the iPad" game.

Well done Matt, amazing the difference a week makes. Saw your game in Featured last week with about 7 reviews, today about 1100+ :-) I was curious as to how 'featured' would effects sales, so thanks a lot for your blog.

What I like best is that you kept the faith in your product, kept updating over the months from release and then got that lucky break to launch you into the charts.

Just thought I'd link this in case you hadn't seen it yet.

I was passively watching 'Attack of the Show' and they recommended three games, one of which was Trainyard.

The 50 second overview starts at 12:30 in the episode.

I'm not sure if Hulu works for people outside of the states.
