Does anyone know how you can compile the program and actually put it on your iPhone without paying for the Dev program? I want to pay it, but with having to register a corporation, it will cost me ~400$ I don't have right now. That being said I need the app on my iPhone for me to test it (with accellerometer etc). I have an old 2G and it's jailbroken, how can I get the app on it?

You don't need to be registered as a corporation to join the dev program. Choose the 'individual' program when you sign up, pay your $99 and you're good to go.
If you're jailbroken and want to stick to that route, there are three options for installing unsigned code. Jay Freeman describes them in detail here: http://www.saurik.com/id/8

Well, I don't want to post the game under my personal name, I want to use a company-style name.

Oh man, this meta programming stuff (everything to do with programming that isn't actual programming) is doing my head in. Even stuff I read about legit setups for signing applications is not simple at all. I'm at a loss for this one as I really need access to my phone, that link to Saurik really doesn't tell you how to compile it properly to have it work, or even what directory to load it into.

You can always convert your 'individual' license to a company one when your closer to release (I've done that, Apple converted it within 2 weeks).
That way you don't have to go through even more hoops just to develop and test your game without one. Its hard enough when your starting out to do it the 'proper' way ; )
You'll get access to all apples docs, which 'mostly' talk you through the processes you need to follow.
Good luck with it.

Ooooh, this is good news. That's much cheaper then isn't it.
Thanks very much for the info. I wasn't aware that I could do a conversion and was rather skeptical that it was possible.
