I picked up the game jordo - I like it! A smart idea was to make putting easy - which you did. I also like the time balance. It does not take long like other golf games to play a whole round. The game is quick enough and simple enough that anybody and play and have fun.
I have one minor gripe. The power bar definitely has lag for me on my 3G. Of course the user can adjust to account for it but I found it inconsistent to time it. Again, that's a minor gripe because in the grand scheme of the game precision does not have to be perfect.
I have some ideas that you may want to consider as well because I think the game can do well:
1. Make two player turned based option, then produce an ipad version or universal. This would really take the game to the next level. I know you have OpenFeint, but you could turn that off for the head to head.
2. I think it would be fun to have a mini-game like Wii Sports golf where there are targets that you have to try to get close to. It would help people hone their game as well as be a quick and fun competition for multiple players.
Anyway, nice job. I look forward to playing some more when I get home from work.
