4Towers is a unique next generation Tower Defense. Its differentiating features are:

- Innovative and Intuitive Combo System that allows for many possible tower and gameplay variations. Combine two different towers with new effects to help defeat the incoming waves!

- Specially crafted levels complete with Boss Challenges. The strategy and gameplay experience in each level is unique. Ranging from levels with huge swarms of creeps to levels where creeps start to become invisible! (PS: The last level is epic!)

- Scores are directly related to what things should matter in a Tower Defense: The faster you kill the creeps the higher your score. This is measured in terms of Damage Per Second (DPS).

- Money is uniquely handled in this game. “Selling” a tower (or “recycling” as we call it) returns the full amount of resources to you. Also, creeps that escape will give you the amount of gold they are worth. This allows for a much less frustrating and an infinitely more strategic gameplay. Spent too much on towers that can’t take out really tough creeps? Recycle and get some Laser (or Green) towers!

- Intriguing and subtle story that will be gradually revealed over the course of the Episodes! Who are “They”? What do “They” want? Why are you able to save everyone?

- An amazing soundtrack provided by Kevin McLeod from Incompetech.

The game looks great, though I'm REALLY bad at Tower Defense games. Any strategy games actually :P

Wanted to say though, that your "Available on the App Store" button on your website seems to point to a different game (Shady Puzzle: Easter Edition).

Even though I'm terrible at tower defense game, I like playing 4Towers. It's a fun game and has several twists that distinguish it from other TD-like games.

A couple of comments. Please keep in mind that I'm a TD rookie :-)

- The number of possible towers to choose from and creeps to shoot seem overwhelming. Granted, in the first few levels, there are limited numbers of towers and creeps; however, in later levels, I'm not sure how I'll remember that a certain tower has a higher attack speed but less range.

- What does "debuff" mean?

- I didn't see an explanation for what "DPS" stood for in the game. You did mention that it stood for damage per second in your initial post.

- How is the score multiplier calculated?

- On the Tower Data and Creep Data pages, it would be nice if the first tower (or creep) was selected when the page is loaded. Also, please disable (or make invisible) the top/bottom arrows when the player's at the top (or bottom) of the list.

- On the General Data page, I'd like to jump to a specific page or go back to the Data menu w/o having to tap through each page.

I hope my comments are useful. 4Towers is a fun game. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for your feedback. :)

By “debuff”, we mean that creeps will be afflicted with an effect. There are two general kinds of debuff in the game: Slow and Amplify Damage

DPS is explained in the first level of the game. Although we will be adding in a more detail guide for DPS soon!

Currently, if you get perfect, your multiplier is 100. If not, your multiplier is 70.

I'd like to add that I found the game to look great and that the game play was good. But like James' message, my TD skills are mediocre and it didn't take long to be over run. Also, I noticed the same thing regarding the data page in that you had to go through each page as I kept tapping all around looking for an exit/return button. Over all I think the look and sound are great and I probably just need to sharpen my TD skills to get further along. G/L w/ sales.

Hi Tim, thanks for your feedback. We've submitted a patch for a bug in the game last Friday and should be approved by Apple this week(keeping my fingers crossed that it gets reviewed today and up).

Regards to the data page and the 'return' button.. we will work something on that. Thanks again! :)

nice game, but really needs a speed-up button. also, i often got to the point where i had loads of money and only could spend it to towers further down, prolonging the game even more...but i guess a speed up button would get rid of that problem.

Hi Tehk,

There is a fast forward button. Whenever there is no waves, you can click on the creep bar at the bottom to deploy a wave earlier. :)

We'll be working on this to improve it for the players, thanks for your comments!

Hi Everyone!

We just submitted a patch:

*fixed a tower combo that was unintentionally doing 10 times the amount of damage
*fixed the "Kill All Bosses" Achievement
*made UI adjustments to OpenFeint to minimize gameplay obstruction

Hi Guys,

An update to inform everyone on what we're currently working on:

- Creep turning animation. Creeps no longer instantly turn 90 degrees when meeting a corner. (Thanks: Ocotopodsquad from Touch Arcade for this suggestion)

- Victory Screen: Multiplier will scale according to health remaining (a bonus will be given for full health). (Thanks: prayforthewind from Touch Arcade for this suggestion)

- Addition of a Quick Guide button during gameplay for quick access to combo and tower information.

- Difficulty implementation: Easy -> More Gold and Less Health for Creep, Normal -> Current Gold, Current Health, Hard -> Less Gold, More Health

NEXT COMING UP!

Episode 2 features:

- A Manual Tower Platform. You can build a single tower on these platforms. They cost 2x the price to build on these platforms.

- Manual Tower Platforms will be activated via a attached button and will have powerful effects. Their only drawback are the long cooldowns!

The Manual Tower Platform abilities are:

- Red: Launches a salvo of high damage missiles.
- Blue: You can place Ice Traps on Creep Paths. Any creeps moving over them will be held frozen.
- Green: Provides a positive buff to all towers within range. Damage towers will have better damage, Debuff Towers will fire faster, AOE Towers will have increase range.
- Purple: Removes a percentage of health from all creeps within range.

New Creeps!

§ “Carrier” creep. Killing this creep will spawn a wave of swarm creeps.

§ “Healing” creep. This creep will heal all creeps within range.

Challenge Levels: Optional Ultra Hard levels. Designed to frustrate.
