   Hi guys,

   I'm trying to achieve something like this:http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1977230/example.png
   but animated.

   It's been driving me madddd. I don't need as much detail as the image, just some sort of colors moving and blending, to give that kind of effect.

   I thought that I could do it by using
   - a lava effect ( http://blog.oaxoa.com/wp-content/examples/showExample.php?f=blobber.swf&w=300&h=300 )
   - or a plasma effect ( http://sebleedelisle.com/2007/11/animated-plasma-in-flash/ )
   - or using perlin noise

   I just got into Cocos2d today and noticed it had some effects, so I was wondering if there'd be a way to do something like this?

   add "opengl es" to your google search and you may find what you're looking for.

   For starters you will likely want to check into the particle effects, they may be able to help some. Also check into the actions, specifically CCTintTo/CCTintBy to change the color of a given texture. The sample code is your friend. =)
