LOL - me too! ;)
If there were a magic formula, we'd all be rich by now.
1) make a good app (very subjective)
2) get it in the app store
3) help the right people (those who would think it's a good app - see stage 1) find out about it (very difficult, because the app store is so large now)
I'm at stage three for my first app (a camera utility) and stage one for my game (for the iPad).
There is a fourth option:
4) consult
Under stage 4, I am at stage 1 for my client's game.
Riq is trying option 5:
5) provide tools and services
Which I hope is going well for him, because his work is invaluable to everyone here!
There are several books out now that might help with stage 3 ... I'm reading "The Business of iPhone App Development" by Dave Wooldridge right now - you might look for that on Amazon.
Hello again and thanks a lot!
I've created a game! it looks like a bubble game and I would like earn some money with avertising.
In fact, I was looking for an agency to put advertising on my application and I have found this one:
Do you know it?
Thanks again!
My connection is playing up at the moment but I think this is the correct link to a Stanford lecture where a guest speaker gives a shed load of information on the whole in app advertising process;

You could try AdMob. That seems to be a popular choice for putting ads in your application.

Thanks! I'll have to check that link out.
Are there any alternatives to AdMob? Is it the best in terms of ease of integration and revenue generation?
In the link I posted above check out '#20 From Student to Startup', there is a mass of information about alternatives, avoiding committing to one particular ad provider in your code and squeezing maximum revenue out of each app.
He suggests not hard wiring a specific ad provider into your app but going with a middle-ware solution to allow for more flexibility.
Thanks guys, I went with MobClix - really easy to integrate and has analytics built in.
