Hi,
Is it possible to detect an area or region when user touch the screen?
I have an image with 5 different parts in the image like head, body, arm, leg and tail. If I want to know when user touch the tail part I can trigger an event. How can I do it?

Split your irregular area into many "regular" areas.... I would make a few rects and circles to check touches against.
Thanks for the suggestion. So, I need to keep a bounding box for each part. What if user touches the overlap area between two parts? I will try to use CCMultiplexLayer to do the job. Put separate part on each CCLayer or CCColorLayer.
Yeah I would do that, does the overlap area matter, in other words do you care what part was touched; if you do I suppose I would have to give a precedence order or try to eliminate that possibility by making the bounding boxes smaller/more.
