@manucorporat do you share the 500 particles (mentioned somewhere) across all your effects? Whatever you're doing works really well! Also did you manage to get the music issue addressed, it's fine on my phone (audioslave, NIN, soundgarden etc) but on the wife's iPod lady gaga and ABBA is just wrong!
edit: sorry didn't read you're last post carefully enough about the particles.
Just bought it now, looks great, about to sync & have a go.
Not sure if your using the default OF notifications (I'm guessing so by the other suggestions). Have you looked into doing custom notifications, seems to have got rid of most lag issues for us in initial tests. (Apologies if you've already done this).

OpenFeints support area was being moved when I came to integrate and somehow I've missed the next>> link in their knowledgebase area. Showing 1-10 of 35!!! I saw the 10 there and immediately assumed that was it considering the huge white-space below them.

Played your game for several days and this is my comments.
Your game is really cool to play, I like sound and style and I didn't find a lot of thing that could be ameliorated.
Two things I can report to you is the score area is maybe too big, It would be cool to reduce it during the game or size it down.
The second thing is that sometimes I die due to the lack of visibility at the bottom of the screen (I only play in dual joystick mode that's the reason, I'm not as good with the accelerometer control).
I like the aggressive sound when you die, everybody look at you and ask themselves what was this noise.
You made a great game and I wish I could do the same when I had you're age.

Yes, that happened to me. Try changing the camera to "2d center". Perhaps the "2d center" should be the default one, but my favorite one is the 3d camera :)

@manucorporat: Good idea. A notification done in OpenGL is VERY useful! I hate when I lose a life due to the UIView notifications and its performance issues.
