MatrixTime is my first app using Cocos2d and it is powered by Cocos2d 0.8.x.
It is actually a timer/clock/stopwatch and it is expressed as a board of LEDs.
I had long been interested in assembling a real LED board. Yet it is too expensive and I was lack of relevant hardware skills to wire one (RS232??). That's where the idea of MatrixTime come from.
I originally used Quartz/UIImage but one day i found that it run so slow that i thought it was a system hang. Then I used Cocos2d and did some pilot tests. I found that it is cool and totally workable in my project.
