When I found that the new photoshop CS4 had some pretty awesome animation tools; I was amped. Within minutes I could make animations that were pretty cool.
The problem is that the output module for animations, is basically only GIF, with sprite sheets as an afterthought. So I went on google and found
http://www.retroaffect.com/blog/132/Photoshop_Animation_to_Sprite_Sheet/, but of course it doesn't work for reasons beyond my knowledge. Then I tried this one:
http://www.torquepowered.com/community/blogs/view/11527, but it just gives you an error and doesn't even complete, because it's dated.
So do I abandon Photoshop for animations completely? I know the program inside and out, which is why I'm so comfortable with it.
Input appreciated,
Jon
