We have one opening right now, pm me if you want to join
Hey Techy,
Your course should have started on the 15th right? I had believed I was signed up for it, but haven't received notification of any materials for the course yet.
What's the status right now?
are you sure you are actually enrolled in the course versus just registering on the website?
It looks like I am only enrolled for the main site...
Regarding the page http://web-geeks.com/iphonedev/
there is a section "My Courses" and under that is "Cocos2D Development", that was what threw me off, as I looked no further believing that my account was linked to the course.
Any chance that your materials would be available to the public even though your course is full?
yes, right now there are no real materials.. next week there will be though
Techy, i am active, but was busy this week, don't delete me of the course please ;)
I'd love to follow along if it's possible. I was too late to register :\
I cant tell if I'm on the course or not. Seems very little activity on the web site, cant see this weeks assignment, and am struggling to know when/if there are any skype chats I should be joining. I think I have done something wrong perhaps?
Regards
i
@indy2005 Hello, as far as I remember you are enrolled into the course. It may seem a little blank since we are only at week 2, and we are getting used to moodle(which is the way we run our course). Also I iinvited everyone to skype via the email they signed up to the course with. I also just resent invites.
If anything opens up, I'd like to join in.
Thanks.
I have to agree with Indy on this in that there's plenty of other material/concepts that we probably should consider covering before jumping into using a physics engine.
Also we will be posting course materials on the blog: web-geeks.com although you wont get access to the skype chat, the forums, and you wont get tips on your work.
I tried signing up but it says I can't enroll for the course.
@Neo-Dragon Course registration is closed, although most course materials will be posted at our blog: web-geeks.com
Oh right cool cool.
I had been trying for awhile (left a comment on youtube).
But if your posting stuff on your blog, I'm sure it's all cool.
Ahhh man... I just found this, got all excited and registered and then it said enrollment closed!! Then I read the rest of the post about how it was capped at 64!
Can you get me in?
Since you have a high demand you should post a lot of video tutorials on youtube. Like each lesson has it's own video.
@neo-dragon Thats a good Idea, I will do that for the upcoming weeks. my youtube channel is: http://www.youtube.com/user/webdashgeeks
@zinc I will PM you when a spot opens
ok thanks mate
I just posted the week 3 vid
nice one :) will look at it this afternoon, thanks techy!
So, I was wondering. To those who are taking the course. How's it coming along?
Any new videos posted on youtube yet Techy? Or planning on adding more. I watched week 3 and it made me want to watch more :P
