Question about deleting old versions of Cocos2d after migration.

Greetings,

I am looking to migrate to the latest version of cocos2d and I plan to follow these instructions (but for the latest version obviously):

The one question I have is that once I am satisfied with how everything works with the latest version, can I simply delete the old cocos2d versions from my Library directory? I just want to make sure doing so will not mess up XCode. (I realize that any other projects using an old version would need to migrated as well or else they would have issues).

Also, are there any additional steps that need to be done to remove the old versions (and old templates, etc) completely/cleanly?

I've generally been doing just that.
1. Delete all the cocos2d source.
2. Find the folder of my project and make sure all cocos2d, cocosDenshion, etc folders are 3. also removed.
4. Do an svn update to get the latest trunk.
5. Add those files (new cocos2d files from svn) back into the project.
6. Go through the wiki and fix up issues, (class name changes, method deprecation changes, etc).

Or:
1. Rename my project folder for backup
2. Do an svn update to get the latest trunk.
3. Remove old cocos2d templates, run the cocos2d install script.
4. Recreate the project again from the template.
5. Add my backup files (files that are my own, not cocos) into the new project.
6. Go through the wiki and fix up issues, (class name changes, method deprecation changes, etc).

To remove the old cocos templates. I just look for the path that the installer script would load all the templates and delete those folders.
