The new project I'm getting started is going to involve some sort of animated character and physics. My first thought was to do everything with physics and a ragdoll, but I pretty quickly shot down this idea because of the lack of "organic" animation that can produce. So I think my best option is going to be a skeletal animation system for most of the animating, and switch to ragdoll phyics when needed. The only problem is that I have very little experience in animation. I'm looking for a library that has already done this for me or any type of help someone can give me. I only need a 2D skeleton. Something that mixes well with Cocos2D would be great too. Anyone have any tips or help for me? Thanks in advance.

P.S. If there isn't any sort of think already available for the iPhone, might this be a type of feature to look forward to in a 1.0 release? I wish I knew what I was doing enough to get started on it myself.. x=\
