Thanks to Riq and all contributors for a great framework.

Hey Mark, have you found any actual uses for it? The people I know that use it just like to feel smug because they are 'using' it (a.k.a staring at the screen) =)
Someone on reddit said something that resonated with me, "Goolge Wave was a program built to show younger people how older people feel when they attempt to use the interment."
I'm all for research into new and improved ways to communicate and share data, I'm just not so sure wave is going to be it.
My use cases are pretty narrow, and yes, they could be accomplished using other tools, but part of the draw does come from it being 'new'. I am using it to help with a board of directors that I am on. It is immensely helpful to hash out ideas, discussions, and have a history of votes for a particular topic. I also use it with extended family that is mildly technologically challenged. Since you can set it up with the same sign on as with other Google services, it eases their transition into it, rather than having to tell them how to download, install, and set up Yahoo Messenger, for example. Dunno, but for me right now, it's mostly fun, with a little bit of usefulness sprinkled in there.
Just thought at least a few of you guys out there might be interested in trying it out.
If you are interested, send an email to effervescent@hotmail.com with a subject of '[Cocos2d Google Wave]'

I find that this version feels like a hybrid of proper collaboration software (which easily shows revision history/who edited what/when), where content doesn't have to feel thread-like, and chat/discussion clients. Not really a compliment though, as those are distinct kinds of programs serving different needs. It feels like this might be useful for something (at the very least it will be nice to use occasionally because it's very accessible/there's no configuration effort for participants). For now though, everyone I know telling me to use it is really just using it for chat (ineffectively) and pasting funny pictures. :-) I think that I might like it a lot more a few versions from now.
