@jamesgrote
Thanks for actually downloading. I got screwed by the apple release date vs submit date bug so I was afraid no one one pay me any attention.
The indicators are for some reason missing from my submitted version. I had 3 release candidates and picked the wrong one. The brush circles the point of ink flow based on finger offset from initial touch position.
The clock is functional but left out of the instructional sequence. Its purpose is to postpone ink "drying". The basic idea is that touch and hold it will allow you to emit ink with out it 'staining' the paper. You can as a result of this function control the size of the ink bead before drawing. This feature along with zoom needed some more fine tuning so they were slated for version 1B which is coming quite soon.
@mhussa
Thanks for the comments.
When I submitted the screenshot were all there. I decided to make some more screen shots after approval and submitted them. For some reason the new pictures took a whole 2 days to show up in the app store. I am still very confused about the submittal process. Rookie mistake I guess. As far as a video I am working on that as we speak. I am also in the process of getting an artist to do some more screenshots. A lot of the real artist I show it to are impressed but say the UI takes a bit of getting used to. I personally think that apps like Layers and Brushes have the touch based drawing category on lock so I will continue to refine my motion based drawing tool. A few really impressive features didn't make it into this initial version.
@all
Thanks again for the comments I really think this app could be used to create some interesting art. I want as many people as possible to experience it. I spend a lot of time trying to get everything feeling right (this is why zoom/pan didn't make this version). Any feedback good or bad is appreciated!!
Give MotionInk a try.
