I'm just making up a custom particle effect, and have ran into a slight problem. In the simulator the particle fade away nicely but on my 3G iPhone, they stay opaque and pop to disappear.
Ive added some other example effects, galaxy for instance seems to work fine in both. I am using a custom texture but it is basically the same as fire.png as used in the examples.
Its a strange one, has anyone noticed this problem in there own projects.
