Anyone knows what's new in this version ?

InApp purchases are now allowed from free/lite apps. You need to accept the new contract if you want to do this.
Sounds interesting, Adding an "upgrade now" button would save the hassle of having 2 apps. InApp purchases was introduced in OS 3.0 I think so it may exclude a large portion of the user base.
Apparently you can have just one version of an app now, download as "lite" and use in-app purchasing to "turn on" non-lite features now.
Yeah but doesn't that eliminate you from the top paid lists? The app store is beginning to be a real mess of nonsense.
QcMat - agreed. Maybe they've got something else up their sleeve, but the free app section is about to get a lot more crowded. Hopefully for the better, but we'll have to wait and see.
I think the free section should be what it is, the free section. Demos are ok because you still don't pay. People are making a living with ads in totally free and complete games. This is going to kill the Top free IMO. I really hope this is the beginning of something new to come. I can't wait to see all those "free" games made by EA.
