   Hello, got something to ask guys!

   I generated several promo codes before submitting a major update to one of my apps. When the update is available, will those promo codes are still usable? Or must I generate new ones?

   Hah, this is interesting for me too ;) I think they will work. I had some "pre-update" promocodes and people doesn't complain. But I'm still not 100% sure about that!

   Promocodes has some "expiration date" but they are not "connected" with current app version.

   I think.

   From the iTunes Connect Promo Codes page:

   Enter the number of codes you are requesting for the application below. You are given 50 codes for each version of an application. They are for non-commercial use and will expire four weeks after they are requested.

   However, as with all things "AppStore/iTunes Connect" related, your mileage may vary. ;-)

   That is promo code for this version, so after an update, they will be lost.
   But it's easy to try to be sure ;)

   Edit:
   Look like I'm wrong.
   Do they change it ? I try it and it wasn't 4 weeks after I generated it.

   Anyway, just have to try :p
