I'm making bluetooth multi play game using cocos2d, game kit bluetooth. but since I updated iOS5, when my device sleep or pressed home button, my bluetooth connection was disconnected. Does anyone know this problem?
Before I updated iOS5, It works completely well. It have never been disconnected though device was slept.
Even My brother's iPhone4 which has iOS4 works well. I'm sure It's iOS5's problem. or there is some option for game kit bluetooth...

I dont get it entirely, but letting bluetooth while the device sleeps sounds like a bug in IOS to me. They are fixing several bugs related to energy right now, perhaps one of them got you?
Anyway, have you evaluated whether it is worth pursuing a solution to this specific problem since, if the device is sleeping, an average user is likely to not want to use the app at that time?
haha, That makes sense. It helped me haha. Thanks. but like this, someone has called suddenly, in this case He probably say friend to stop a moment and hang up and back to game. then game is disconnected. This's problem.. as you say, It must be bug.. because before I update iOS5. There was no problem.

As a user I like better have bluetooth being turned off. If the app is in background it shouldnt be using wifi/3d/bt unless I say so (through notifications, for instance).
The main issue here seems to be when getting a call, but I am not entirely sure iOS behaves exactly like a home button press because it gets back to the previous app once the call is over. Perhaps iOS is smart enough to not turn off all resources tied to the app. Have you actually tried this case yourself? I would be interested in confirming.
I dont think I can test soon. Sorry and still thank you. Because my device which has iOS5 is a iPod. To test I need my brother's phone but it's iOS4, that still work good. But I'm agree with your saying that makes sence.
