I have 64 sounds effect to play. I also increase CD_MAX_BUFFERS & CD_MAX_SOURCES to 64. When I play sound effect, everything is ok, no error. But I cant listen anything. I also debug but every value is ok. I 've successed with less than 32 sounds before. Here my code in init method:
