Im looking for developers to create an amaizing app. inovation its my dream so i need some of you to do it. Better if you are from spain, better barcelona,
i need 2 developers, if you want to be my developer, you are gona earn 20% of the money earned in the appStore and others.

@CBBOX: You'll get a lot more interest if you raise some money first, then hire a developer for actual money, not a percentage of AppStore profits. Also, providing some idea on what your app will be would also help. Is it a physics-based game? What type of game is it? Different developers have difference strengths, so just saying it is "amazing" and "innovative" means exactly nothing. Overused marketing buzzwords will NOT convince a dev to work with you.
So much of the success of an app comes from the marketing - do you have the experience in marketing to the mobile community that makes you a worthwhile partner? The App Store is BRUTAL. Fabulous apps are overlooked all the time. Please, sell us on why we would want to partner with you.

I have diferents ideas, one of them its an cartoon physic game.
Ita based on a character i created, ( cardboard box head and human fat body)
Its a platform game it would hav an amaizing graphics and you will play and you wint stop playing

The i have an idea of clasifiing mushroms, a program that asks you the features of the mushrom and then
The program show you the name, image, propertis, all kind of information, abd that have to be offline couse in the mountain you dont have
3g ( internet), but that game its not a physic games.
Then about the money its just that i dont have anything to give at de developers first
The level of the aplicatipn that we creat will be the money that we will earn

I want to develop this app of yours - so tell me everything I am supposed to do to make this amazing game.
Once it is complete I will publish it to the App Store and market it myself because then I get 100% of the profits for all the work I have done.

I don't believe I'd ever say that, except maybe as the punchline to a bar joke.
But, be that as it may... So, this mushroom app. Is it for identifying hallucinogenic mushrooms for recreational use? Because I don't think Apple will approve that. Or maybe for finding poisonous mushrooms for homicidal use? From my experience, they won't approve that either. Apple's reviewers are pretty tough these days. Unless the mushrooms make farting noises if you touch them, I'm not sure the app would get approved.
You know, you could use the mushrooms in a game and Apple might approve that. You could make the main character say things like "thata fucking amaizing" and he could be a plumber or something. Maybe he could collect coins and rescue a princess and such.
That 20% of unknown riches is mighty tempting. But, why is it in our best interest to develop this plumber and mushroom game for you instead of on our own? @Duckwit and @Indy2005 and I could get together and create this app and split all the plumber coins between us, but I'm thinking there must be a good reason why it would be better for us to do all the work for you and get 20% of unknown riches instead. Do you have skills or ideas that would make this app a wild success if we went with you?
Guys, guys, please, maybe his english is not good enough to express exactly what he means, but have any of you PM him to ask for details? He is a designer and he is providing the graphics, come one, I am a developer and I can surely program but hell I cannot draw, so I have been looking to team up with a good designer for a while so we could split sales on our apps, so what the OP is offering (up to 50% or 60% and providing the graphics) it's actually fair. It's difficult to say how much goes in design and how much goes in programming when doing a game, note we also need the game design itself, the managing and the level creating (if any), so a 50% split is at the least fair enough for everyone. I reckon his apps don't appeal us much, but the game may work, I have seen the graphics and are nice.
One good thing about this forum is now we have employers coming here and posting offers, some genuine, some scams, ok, but the last thing we want is to new employers to go to the jobs forum and get scared reading the answers, and go away.
The OP specified to contact him by email. I did by curiosity (also cos I'm moving to Barcelona in a few months, I have to say), and he sent me his artwork. I may or may not be interested on the game (definitively not up for the apps), but the feedback I got from him after that was more positive (ok, also cos we both are spanish). My point is, before jumping into conclusions, check with the guys, as we don't want to scare genuine employers.

A good way to solve the problem is to get a "READ ME BEFORE POSTING A JOB" in place. Otherwise people will mock offers like this.
Have you thought the other way around? Assuming his english is not good enough how come would he be able to partner a non spanish speaker?
I myself speak portuguese and I have a hard time working with people abroad (my english is not as bad as his, but surely is not good enough to make things go smooth). Just my .02 cents since I see a lot of bad job offers around (and replies at the same level, like mine previously).

@zaaroth, that's a good point. My Spanish is limited to topics such as going to the beach, the school or the library. It could be difficult to have a technical discussion with those components.

@clarus I can relatively fluently speak Spanish, got an A* GCSE in it 2 years earlier than normal -
But from my experience Google Translate (Or another similar service) will definitely help you get more than a gist if you ever need to. :)

I can see your point of view, @itlgames how he is in a position where accurate communication might be difficult and he could actually be a genuine employer - But as for an 'employer-mindset' SWEARING and offering pathetic "20% of market shares" isn't going to make people, especially certain more formal members, interested in managing the slightest correspondence with the OP and it more like an invitation to ridicule. If he really is have problems with English he could of surely used a translator to get his ideas across anyways. :)
Note the OP here was asking for people in Spain, Barcelona, so you could have guessed that speaking spanish helps when his English wasn't good. And if you don't live on Spain nor speak Spanish, you could simple have ignore this post. Then on his second post he raises up to 60%.
A good solution for all this is to have the jobs tab as I suggested here:

The idea is people posting would use dropdowns/checkboxes/radiobuttons for most of the options, so that could solve most of the translation issues.
Anyway I wasn't speaking about this post in particular when talking about genuine employers, but in general, every time someone post an offer or collaboration it gets not too friendly responses. Well, you may not be interested or $20 per hour may not sound fair for most of us, but somewhere in the globe $20 per hour may sound fair. What annoys me is, as an employer, I could go to the Jobs forum and read some of the previous threads and scare me away, and that is not good, since it's great we can now benefit from this forum/community and get some decent jobs (I already have got some). That's the bottom line.
While I haven't always been favourable to some job posts out their, I have found a number of good jobs through this forum also and I think a jobs tab on the main website would be to the benefit of everyone, especially if there are no comment facilities.
If we have it so the employer has to follow a template to post the job then that should help the standards of the jobs being posted.

Yes, that's the idea, I agree some posts are vague, ridiculous, or just not right, but what I was trying to say is, it's better ignore on those cases rather than reply back with sarcasms, just cos others employers may read previous posts and scare them off.
Once I get some works off my back I will try to make a start on the Jobs tab.

My problem with these requests is the lack of care and attention with which they are posted, I appreciate the language barrier but why not put a link to a portfolio or have a bulleted list of requirement?
There is no mention in the initial post of any idea or vision rather a straight jump into the the developers percentage for an unknown quantity of work, on an unknown app with unknown timescales hence the initial *sob*.
If we want to attract quality work offers (as a secondary spin of the site) we need to provide an environment where people feel their offers will be taken seriously. I hope @CBBOX finds the developers they're looking for but a little more time spent on the proposal would pay dividends both in protecting the ideas and getting them built.

Regarding the OP as he was Spanish and his post was pretty vague and wrong, probably due to language barrier, I took the time to contact him and found out the game may sound interesting after all. But in general I wasn't speaking about this post in particular, I'm sure you see my point.
In the mean time, @abitofcode do you mind sticking a READ ME FIRST post on the Jobs forum? Since you are native and my English will never be good enough!!
I'll put something together this evening (wife's birthday today so I'm treading carefully at the moment ;)
