I don't have the SVG but I have bigger raster images.
Which on in particular do you want ? I'll send you by mail.Posted 2 years ago # -
Also, is it permissible to use the Cocos character in our games. I dont think it should ever star in a game, but it would be cool to maybe see it in the background. Like for in a match game, one of the tiles could be Cocos, etc...
For example, in Cave Dweller if you solve all the levels you can play as the cocos logo (the old one, with the legs).
[edit] originally I asked riq to email me a big version also, but I just realized you can click on the logos page and get a decent sized image anyway. So... never mind. Thanks.

Problem with raster images is that they getting blurry as u shrink them...

how about the bitmap trace feature in illustrator? not ideal, but you can often get a good vector using it after a bit of tweaking.

@codemattic: yes, it's ok to include the cocos2d logo in the game, but it should be clear that the game is not any kind of "cocos2d official game".
So, avoid using the logo as the main character of the game. It can appear as an NPC. But the role it plays on the game should not be significant.
Also, take into account that you can't alter the cocos2d official logo without prior authorization from Mike At fullyillustrated.

"avoid using the logo as the main character of the game"
"but it should be clear that the game is not any kind of "cocos2d official game"."Yes I agree with this. If I use it I will follow the rules - and also contact Mike. Thanks.
