There also seems to be much fewer posts recently - not sure if thats because of the blocking confusing developers or not.

I think the problem is in advertised games. You know how "Great Google" looks about competition and having in mind their Android project, finding links like http://itunes.... or http://phobos.... I am sure they treat as spam...
Just thoughts
This is pretty ridiculous. Maybe we'll have to start using this forum from now on.
yes... ARGH.... google marked the group, AGAIN, as spam.
Damm google
In addition its almost impossible to get help or answers from Google. Is this forum ready to be the official cocos2d-iphone discussion group yet? It seems to work pretty well!
Crmagicxxx may have a point - it may view appstore links as spam.
I believe the problem is more likely that the group is getting reported as spam from the "Report this group" link on the home page. If you don't think anybody would be crazy enough to do that check post #51 in the thread below:

Lots, lots of Google groups are being marked as spam.
I don't think that a user can cause such a mess in lots of Google Groups.
I think it is related to a new spam detection algorithm that is working as hell.
Looks like it is unblocked now.
yes... argh... let's see how many days the groups remains as not-spam.
Ok, again is marked as spam.
Might be a good time to put up a nice banner on the Google group to point all new discussions and posts to this forum? :)
