Hi cocos2d developers,
Finally the critically acclaimed Infinity Field HD is coming to iPhone on 25 August.

* The soundtrack has been composed by Chris Chudley, famed composer of Geometry Wars series, PGR3, PGR4 and other hits distributed by Activision.

Looks amazing! I think it is truly spectacular how well the performance functions on your games (As I have seen in the past, and now with this latest release) - So many particles at such an amazing speed!

Again with Chillingo ? For a moment I thought you pulled off the Angry Birds Rio / Cut the Rope Experiment trick ;) Promote, keep IP, dump the publisher, profit :P

Fantastic! I've played IF on my iPad regulary since around Christmas - the longevity and replay value is immense.

@renderplace I have future plans for Infinity Field in non-Apple devices without Chillingo.
Anyway, Chiilingo did a great job promoting Infinity Field HD, and I trust them for the iPhone version too.

The worst thing I found in Chillingo is the internal competence between games.

"I am not stupid, this game with Chillingo is a strategic move" I dont know why Chillingo has such secrecy with developers. Obviously they would be hesitant to share actual numbers - but why not explain the process - what are the contributions and assets Chillingo brings to the table - etc...

ouch, sorry @mike950, I didn't see your post. I used an jailbreak app called "Screen recorder" to record the gameplay scenes directly from the iPhone, so the final game is even smoother.

@Codemattic the mac version was delayed to release the iPhone version.
Basically this iPhone version will allow me to release a version for a non-apple device.

@manucorprat: is this the same game as your "Abstract Wars" on AppStore? It looks very similar judging by the screenshots, is Chillingo ok with that? Thanks!

Infinity Field isn't AW 2.0. Infinity Field has got enough new features to be a new game.

Infinity Field iPhone ≈ AbstractWar 4.0

and yes, Chillingo knows the existence of AbstractWar 2.0 several months ago.

The reason I asked is because I'm thinking about realeasing a game on my own, AND its clone with a publisher (same engine, different graphics and content). So I was wondering if Chillingo had given you any hard time with AW.

Anyway, the game looks very cool, congrats!
