A new free Cocos3d game called Aligyro
Aligyro is a simulation of a gyroscopic wrist exerciser also known as a powerball.
I have been an engineer and programmer for decades but this is my first foray into 3d games and the app store. I started out to make a rather complicated game about a year ago and realized I needed to simplify in order to learn all the tools, techniques and APIs first. A single rotating textured sphere was about as simple as I could get while still using all of the features I would need for the future more complicated game. This game was a simple platform to practice different kinds of meshed and textured spheres, lighting, iPhone gestures, CoreMotion, OpenGL, Cocos3d api, animation, blender, theme switching and much more.
For example, the space theme uses a standard spherical sphere with texture and bump map. The wood theme uses a smoothed cube as a sphere with a custom texture and specular mapping. The scene uses both stationary lighting and specular lighting which tracks the CoreMotion gyro attitude so the light always seems to come down from the sky even as the iPhone is tilted. It also makes use of VR mode.
It has been a great learning experience. I haven't found any other 3D gyroscopic wrist exercisers on the App Store so it is even somewhat unique and useful.
New 3D game released built with Cocos3D/Cocos2D: Cluck Y'Egger!
This was a team effort to provide fans of the SpaceVenture kickstarter project with a fun game to play until the adventure game is released next year.
It's a great update to the old arcade game shooters like Galaga and Centipede!

Hi,
I developed a cocos3d game app a while ago.
It's name is gyroblades3d.
It was very funny to develop, but it's not so much of a financial success.
It's tough out there in the gaming business...
Please take a look !

CraftedBattle is currently the number 1 paid app in the US iPhone app-charts.
Hi Bill,
After many hours toil I have a Cocos3D based universal app at the app store awaiting review.
Its called Alien Rabbits and takes its cues from the best early arcade games and adds in the magic of Cocos3D.
Here's a couple of links to set the scene; I'll send you a token when approved.

3D Tetris! Really cool idea!
The play and UI are well executed too. Nice job!
I've taken the second code. Looks like all three are consumed now.

Hi,
Just finished my first app - "Fairy Dust". It uses cocos3d as the augmented reality engine. Look through the iphone (or iPad) camera and every so often fairies appear in the world around you. You can tap them on screen and they give you fairy dust. Collect enough and the camera is able to see more fairies. 15 fairies to discover in total.
Spoiler alert, the fairies aren't real! But were modelled in 3ds and animated with a combination of 3ds and Motion Builder for the mo cap stuff. Cocos3d handles the animation, movement and "augmented reality" bit effortlessly. A number of cocos3d and 2d particle effects make it look great (in my biased opinion!).
It was quite some learning experience, although seeing the kids faces as they move around the house looking for fairies is quite something (my kids now realise that they can stay still and providing they keep looking in a circle around them, the fairies will come to them).
Simple web page for the interested/curious. http//www.fairyapp.com.au
Hello!
I want to tell you about our new app - Planner 5D, interior designer. It is using both cocos2d 1.0 and cocos3d 0.7, so I decided not to flood on both forums and created a long post here: http://www.cocos2d-iphone.org/forum/topic/338202#post-500635
Shortly, here is the link (the application is absolutely FREE, no in-app purchases or demo versions):

I hope you will find it nice and useful, if you are planning to change your interior design!
Thanks!
Wow! Very professional app!
Why on earth are you not charging for it?
I myself paid over $100 for planning software when I did a house reno a few years back! :^)
Best of luck with your rollout!

@medvednick Very nice, congrats!
Just got my first cocos3d hobby app U-Ducks to AppStore. It's a chess-like turn-by-turn game in watery 3D world. Great learning experience - never done anything with 3D before. Probably I will update the game to the cocos3d 2.0 and use the shaders and other new stuff to create more realistic looking water. If somebody wants to know how some things are done, I'm happy to share code snippets and info - although I feel that my use & skills of using cocos3d are at pretty basic level. Video of the game:
