I'm wondering if anyone has done any testing to see exactly what impact running at different frame rates has on the battery. I'm considering capping my game at 30 FPS to save battery power. The visual difference between 30 FPS and 60 FPS is negligible for my game, but I'm wondering if it's actually worth it in terms of battery savings to keep the cap.
Also, what about the fast director? I imagine that eats battery like crazy.
I may do some testing of my own on this matter, but I wanted to see if anyone else had done any first. I didn't find anything with Google.
