   Looks very good Colyn, love the particle effects on the booster, the only thing that kind of stuck out for me are the 32 unique bosses all look kind of the same, while they may have different movement patterns or shooting patterns at first glance of a screenshot or even from the video they all look to be the same ship just with different paint jobs.

   I would love to be proven wrong and eat my words when it comes out though ;)

   hi varedis lol i think that day is coming lol.

   there are 4 worlds each world has a single main boss centre element and 8 limb elements which are either guns or just limbs
   there are 8 levels in each world each boss gets bigger and progressively harder as the levels go on so when you reach the next world you have new design of boss
   with all new pieces but like you say its hard to tell from the video.

   i would post some boss elements but i have 36 parts that make up the bosses so quite hard to do and don't want anybody to rip of my hard work.

   important announcement:

   i am running a competion for the next 3 days : ends 8pm monday night uk time.

   i want people to come up with a really great spaceship name so in an update i can inlcude it in the game with possible mention of the winner in game too.

   the winner will receive a code to download Cave shooter 2 for free ealry before anybody else so they will be the first to play the full game.

   Best of luck with this game and it's launch. I'm in a similar situation to yourself with regards to iPhone/ game development and am hoping to launch my retro style 2d plat-former next year in February (still got art work to do!....anybody cheap out there?? ;) ).

   Let us all know how it goes for you in terms of sales performance etc as well - it's always nice to know how the App Store is still working for us single handed developers out there and whether the efforts we all put in is worth it!

   I'll keep my eye out for the game when it's launched as well, be interesting to see how it plays.

    Well guys the update that adds icade support should go live in a couple of days.

    I'm currently working on making Cave Shooter 2 universal so will work on the iPad ,pretty much finished so expect the update in the next few weeks.

    Sales are slow but it's just come out the gate if you pardon the pun .got to get word out there as I believe in my product and and am having a good response from people who have bought it so just got to tell the people about it.

    news update: well the universal update is finished just working on improving the performance of Cave Shooter 2 so runs even smoother. will be submitting to apple soon, remember guys if you already bought this it means your be able to download the iPad version for free and Cave Shooter on the iPad using the icade is awesome.

    well guys just found out Cave Shooter 2 has be pirated and available on the web, not that happy but hey means it must be a good game as only good games tend to get cracked.

    Just submitted Cave Shooter 2 with universal and icade support to apple for review. iPad owners look out its on its way.

    hi guys just to let you know a new update is coming in a few weeks and will include an instant play feature that will let you skip all the menus and go straight to the level you last played, will also have a big other feature that were keeping quite at min.thanks
