[BETA Testers Wanted] Power Cubes

Power Cubes is a new puzzle-arcade game for the iPhone + iPad powered by cocos2d. I've been working on it with my brother for a few months, and we think it's finally ready to go into the beta-testing phase.

Except your thumb may be cover part of the screen making it difficult to see where you are going and what is shooting at you. The person playing in the video doesn't seem to have that issue, so maybe it's not a factor.

You're right - your vision can get obscured by your finger/hand sometimes. However, we've done all we can think of to make it a non-issue. Both tapping and dragging work, so you can just tap your destination (using the line between the player and the 'x' as a guide) and then lift your finger to look at what's going on, and then drag if you need more precision. Also, the 'x' appears slightly above where you tap, so you can see where exactly you're tapping.

We tried other control schemes, too, but this was the most intuitive and easiest to pick up.

The demo video was recorded in the simulator, which does make it easier, but I still believe it's very playable on the real thing. But I guess that's exactly why we're beta testing - for feedback!
