New Version of Game Base on previous

Hi Guys,

How you guys doing. Do hope you guys are could show me some light on this.
I'm bit lost here until the extent where i not able to reach out my hand for the light of hope.

I aready have my older version of game working perfectly fine. Lets name it Game A.
Then for now, i'm thinking of changing the skin and add in some additional feature to make it a better version of Game B.

What i did was, i copy the whole folder of Game A and rename it to Game B.
Also not only that, i also use the xcode self feature Project->Rename to rename the whole project.

But then when i run the xcode, it always refer the resource and everything back on Game A especially the image files.
I get to see the image files and etc.. only after i run Game A then run Game B.

If i run Game B directly, images file is not there.
Help ? SOS ? any idea?

Try removing the resources folder (choose delete references) from xcode and add it again.

What is your way of doing if you're in my position. Will you just copy the previous project and paste it to a new folder with new name?

No,
What i do is to create a new target if most of the codebase is same.
And then each target can have it's own resources folder.

If you are using Xcode 4 make sure you Search Paths in your targets build settings are pointing at your new project, likelyhood is they are still pointing at your old project

Thank a bunch guys.
I'm running into some strange problem.

I copy the code base from Game A and rename it to Game B by using Project->rename
As we run our apps using the simulator. We will encounter different set of icon for each project that we have and test out in simulator.

What i am facing now is that, the icon for Game A seems to be overwrite by Game B. Meaning to say i can't have 2 project at the same time under the simulator T.T this is tragic.

Do i need to configure anything from the infoplish file?

You need to change the bundle id in the info.plist file.
If two projects will have same bundle id, simulator will treat them as same app.
