I have just downloaded and installed the cocos 99.5 templates into my Xcode but when I open an Xcode project and run the default hello world app I get like 5000 errors and 10000 warning messages. If anyof you could help I'd really appreciate it.

Does it work when you create a non-cocos2d template? If it does, reinstall cocos2d. Otherwhise, try reinstalling Xcode.
