I tested my game on an iPhone 3GS for the first time today. Previously all of my testing was done on a couple of 2nd gen iPod Touches. I have noticed that using the same exact build the game uses about 4mb more memory on the iPhone 3GS (13-14mb) than it does on the iPod (9-10mb).
Is this normal? I figure it could be something to do with how the textures are stored in memory on the 3GS, but I just wanted to see if anyone else had noticed this with their games.
