Yeah, I noticed only a month or so ago that there was an app named Continuity on the App Store. It was just a matter of time of course but hopefully it wont be a problem. Its a completely different category and its definitely fine for us. Like @varedis pointed out we released Continuity as a Flash game over a year ago. We wanted to name it Continuity 2 to point out that its not a straight port but contains new mechanics and all new levels.

We had to postpone the release the release to 23rd. We're sorry about that but at least you can be sure thats when it will be released. Even if the sun falls from the sky.

    This is my opion.

Better to change the name before it's too late.
    - He has the right to say you hurt my title. ex: Customer won't buy v1 because v2 already released. it's reasonable, right?
    - The more you success the more risk it be, and of course more painful.
    - Some lawyers are willing to take this case (they may share later), since you're aware of other existence, the way you name the title tell them that.

Continuation is also good, isn't it?

No one is going to confuse a game with a script helper, its not like he released the exact same app with a new version number.

If choosing a name on the App Store grants you unique rights to all future, past and slight changes of names then soon we will all have to just mash the keyboard with our elbows to pick a name.

@varedis: Just because it does not happen to you, you can say so.
I see you launch a game name Fishing Bears.
If tommorrow there is someone release Fishing Bears 2, promise me you won't do anything.

If you could commit it's ok. I will release Fishing Bears 2 next week. Just kidding :).

It's just my opion, he would never do so.

    One day to release!

We posted a video on how we create levels for Continuity 2 so I though I'd share it here. You're always struggling with balancing how much effort you should put into level editors for saving time when editing levels later on. Anyway, for this game we developed a stand-alone editor in Flash which works like this:

    Haha! Beautifully done! :)
This reminds me of a 2D version of "Ectochrome 2":

OMG! Echochrome is super. Japanese games are awesome.

Since they are made by Sony, look like those games will never be port to App Store.

    Hey there!

I'm the other developer of Continuity 2 and I wanted to let you know that the game is out in the App Store today!

Here's the App Store link: http://bit.ly/lmiFFK

P.S. Is there a way to markup hyperlinks here or no?

Very enjoyable game, managed to play a few levels then I left it on multitasking for a bit while I did something else, tried to go back to the game and it continualy crashed on startup. A phone restart seems to have sorted it though.

The game does start getting very interesting when you have more than 4 sliding squares.

    Can't wait to play more.
