   I just did a clean checkout of r1271 and the box2d stuff isn't building correctly. It looks like the directory structure might have changed a little and the files are "missing" from the XCode project.

   Could easily be user error (I'm still getting familiar with the XCode environment.) but I think it's a fairly simple fix.

   yes, r1271 is not v0.8.1-beta. v0.8.1-beta is r1268, which includes box2d r228 from source forge.

   I'm updating box2d to use the newest changes

   edit:
   try with r1273. it includes the newest changes. box2dtest.m updated.
   using box2d r6 from google code (new box2d repository)
