Hey Patric, I have a question if you don't mind:
The tile map is 64x64, how big is it in a sense? does it feel like a real big town or a village (I hope that makes sense)??
Btw, sorry for asking instead of buying the game, I live in Israel and Apple doesn't accept PayPal.
Each tilemap is 32x32, for a total of 64 tilemaps (8x8).
The total size of the "map" is 8192x8192 pixels, which isn't too bad, it takes a minute and a half to drive from one end of the city to the other ;)
I only display 4 tilemaps at each given time, so performance isn't bad.
the maps all share the same tileset so memory consumption isn't high either.
