   Hi

   I have a few suggestions for the new forum:

   - Can you please set the font for unread posts to be bold? There is a color difference right now, but when read and unread posts are mixed, it would be easier to see the difference

   - Is it possible to add PREVIEW button when sending posts? It would be nice to see the actual post before sending especially if you embed something...

   - Can you please add the heading menu for blog, download, documentation, etc. to the forum also?

   - Can you change the favicon for the whole http://www.cocos2d-iphone.com site, because I had tons of bookmarks and it's easier to spot the right one if it has the favicon. I've uploaded one here http://www.4iphone4.me/_images/favicon.ico so you can use it. It's simple cocos2d logo with removed background...

   added favicon... working in safari but not in firefox. I don't know how to fix it.

   regarding navigation, help is needed.
   I'm using the default theme of bbpress 1.0rc2 which seems not to support navigation. Adding navigation should not be difficult, but I know little about php / css. So patches are welcome.

   regarding "bold", the same: patches are welcome.

   The site is using bbpress 1.0rc2 with the "unread post" plugin + default theme.

   regarding preview, I don't know if there is a plugin, but you can edit your post as many times as you want (for 2 hours).

   I think there is no preview plugin, I searched that days ago and I did'tn find it.

   A bug:

   When adding tags to a post, adding the second tag I got this:

   Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /var/www/forum/bb-admin/admin-ajax.php on line 45

   Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /var/www/forum/bb-admin/admin-ajax.php:45) in /var/www/forum/bb-includes/backpress/class.wp-ajax-response.php on line 131

   The previous bug I send, from my experience usually it's a coding fault.

   Another related to tags:

   I want in this post to add the forum tag and I get:

   "The tag was not added. Either the tag name was invalid or the topic is closed."

   Being able to quote portions of previous posts would be a great tool.

   Having said that, the PHP errors there are usually caused by plugin interactions (A common issue on WP as well)

   Is there a reason you guys didn't choose phpBB, or some other system specifically for Forums? A lot of the functionality I see that is being requested comes standard in things like phpBB.

   Please Note: I am not complaining, just wondering :).

   favicon is working for me in Firefox Riq - try shift-reloading. Also maybe replace the BB logo with cocos logo.

    @sunsu: I prefer "light" bulletins boards, with only the "essential" features, since they focus the attention on discussions (and usually they are more secure).

    Every plugin added it's a security risk.

    No one is free from vulnerabilities, they key is to have a developer group that reacts as soon as possible.

    PHPBB historically was among the top vulnerable forum, but this also was for that PHPBB is one of the more extended forum system, even bbPress has this (plugin Private messages), SMF keeps vulnerabilities low for a great forum software.

    If NASA, gob, Microsoft, IBM and so have vulneravbilities .. go figure with any kind of forum software.

    The second (or perhaps the first) it's to have frequent backups.

    If you need to login everytime you come to the page, do your login in the .org page.

    If you come with the .com link, when you login you get redirected to the .org, meaning the cookie won't be set for the .com. On your second visit (using .com) the browser does not see the .org cookie.

    I'm confused by my own explanation :p

    Just stop using the .com and everything will work.

    The only thing that I can suggest right now is possibly a different theme. The large "Hot Tags" column and the color scheme really mess with my eyes for some reason.

    Would it be possible to allow people to edit their own posts even after an hour passes?

    For example: I'd like to add a couple of videos to my Game post.
