Hey all, we've just released our new game, Energy Harvest, a game similar in style to playauditorium.com or light jockey. The basic gist of the gameplay is that there is a stream(s) of "particles" that you must direct into container(s) using "force fields"... if you can't visualize that, there's some screenshots posted here: http://www.mobile-bros.com/?p=62
So on to the development side. We used chipmunk for all the physics you see in Energy Harvest, particularly the SpaceManager code (free here: http://www.mobile-bros.com/?p=126). We created special collision objects that would enact a force on the particles, effectively creating "force fields". Also in use were some of Cocos' particle systems effects and the experimental motion streak effect.
